SD_AC Members
The Doctoral school of Automatic Control and Computers (SD_AC) organizes doctoral studies in the fundamental domain Engineering Sciences, the doctoral domains: System Engineering (SE) and Computers and Information Technology (CIT). SD_AC gathers Ph.D. coordinators, habilitated according to law of Higher Education, from the departments of the faculty of Automatic Control and Computers (A&C) in the University Politehnica of Bucharest (UPB): (1) Computer Science and Engineering (Computers), (2) Automatic Control and Industrial Informatics (AII) and (3) Automatic Control and Sistem Engineering (AIS).

The SD_AC members coordinate the research activities which benefit from the logistic support provided by the training and research platforms of the A&C faculty within UPB. Through the Ph.D. theses directed and the scientific results obtained by their Ph.D. students, the members of the SD_AC contribute to the scientific visibility of the faculty of Automatic Control and Computers within UPB in the two doctoral domains: System Engineering, and Computers and IT.
At present, the Doctoral school of Automatic Control and Computers of the University Politehnica of Bucharest has 43 members, from which 24 supervise Ph.D. theses in the “System Engineering” domain and 19 in the “Computers and Information Technology” domain.
